Community Supported Agriculture

Join Us

Welcome to our Community Supported Agriculture project, an initiative to regenerate our soil, awaken the farm and cultivate a community.

The project reflects a mutual commitment between farmer and consumer to support regenerative, small-scale agriculture, allowing us to thoughtfully farm high-quality, seasonal and organic produce without waste, so that it may be enjoyed by our friends.

We’re offering a limited number of subscriptions to our weekly vegetable and bloom boxes.
We hope you will join us on this journey as we sow the seeds of a more sustainable future!

Garlic Planting

Workshop

The season has just flown by, and this will be our last farm gathering of the year. We are so thankful for your support during the launch of Friends of a Farmer. To mark the end of the beginning, we welcome you to the farm where we’ll celebrate by getting our hands dirty, planting garlic which will grow throughout the winter. The u-pick fields will also be open for your family and friends to enjoy.

Everyone has heard the new buzz word "regenerative agriculture," but do you ever wonder what it really means? How does this approach to farming differ from conventional methods? What is the difference between "regenerative" and "organic"? What are its benefits? Does it make a real and significant difference on food quality and the environment?

On Saturday October 28, we invite you to join a workshop on our farm in Meco to learn more about our approach to growing healthy and delicious food without depleting the Earth. We’ll discuss various key elements of our own regenerative process, including soil health, healthy composting, cover cropping and low-till techniques, all while learning first-hand by getting our hands dirty in our soil.

Enjoy a beautiful Saturday morning on the farm, taking home life-long insights about harmonizing our diet and agricultural practices with nature. The cost for this workshop – including the program and a complementary selection of fresh bites and refreshments – is €30 per person.

See you on the farm!

Join us on the farm on September 16 for our annual floriculture workshop. We’ll learn from our flower farmers, Andy and Cat, about the cultivation of organic cut flowers, the many different varieties at the farm, and how best to harvest and bunch your own bouquet. Explore the flower fields, handpicking your favourite blooms to create and take home your bespoke bunch of blooms.  The cost for this workshop, including your bouquet of organic flowers, a day on the farm with a selection of complementary fresh bites and refreshments, is €25 per person. We recommend bringing your own large vase to keep your bouquet fresh. We have very limited space available so please reserve below.
